Check in no later than 6:45 a.m. Cruise depart at 07:00 a.m. We set sail to Kyauk Myaung for afternoon visit at charming pottery-making village by walking tour. Here, we’ll watch the craftsmen create beautiful pots as they work their potters’ wheels with their legs.
In the evening, welcome cocktail party is followed by the dinner. (Overnight nearby Kyauk Myaung)
As we glide down the river, you can enjoy activities & demonstrations on traditions such as how to wear a longyi (sarong), thanakha(local cosmetic sunscreen), cookery lessons & history talks.In the afternoon, we arrive at Tagaung which dates back to the Pyu dynasty. Explore along the ancient capital by Tuk Tuk. This rich archaeological excavation site still has original city walls which have been extremely well preserved. (Overnight nearby Tagaung).
After sailing the whole morning, we reach into Katha colonial town which is known as for George Orwell’s (Burmese Days- author’s) former house, the British club, Tennis court & Katha heritage house which was used to stay by the British district officer. Touring around the town by Tuk Tuk will take you to the British heyday. In the evening, Kachin traditional dancers will entertain you at the Saloon bar. (Overnight at Katha.)
After an early breakfast, visit the local market & we drive into the Elephant camp to observe how to tame the elephants for pulling the logs in the teak forest. Then, picnic lunch is served at the local forest camp bungalow. After lunch, drive back to the cruise to set sail down. In the afternoon, visit at Htee Gyaint by Tuk Tuk to see beautiful wooden houses on the western bank of the majestic Ayeyarwaddy river. (Overnight at Htee Gyaint).
Relax during a leisurely cruise to Kyar Nyat- Take a guided walking tour of this small village and you’ll spy monastic education & get an authentic taste of local life. This afternoon, we will head south downstream for the next stop where we spend for walking tour along the village Nwe Nyein which is famous for many glazed pottery factories. In the evening, farewell cocktail party is followed by the traditional dance & dinner. (Overnight nearby Nwe Nyein).
This morning, we’ll cruise southwards to Mingun where we will make ox-cart tour for monumental temple (unfinished pagoda) & 90-tonne Mingun bell, one of the world’s heaviest ringing bells. In the afternoon, the cruise is sailing down back to Mandalay.

Infants below the age of 4 years may sleep in their parent’s cabin without extra but the company cannot guarantee the availability of a cot.
Children up to 12 years must occupy a berth and pay 50% of the adult rate if sharing the same cabins.
Full rate applied if staying in a different cabin.
For booking of 6 + cabins: FOC accommodation in the officer accommodation on certain ships and according to availability.
We provide English Speaking Guide on boat. Guide is subject to availability. Local guide will be charged USD 200 per person for Booking up to 4 cabins. For booking of 4 + cabins, FOC accommodation in single use at guide room provided according to availability. Booking Policies & Payment Terms We can hold your request of cabins. To confirm the booking, we require the payment of a deposit within the option expiration date.
Final balances must be paid 30 days before departure or the booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
For cancellations of bookings, the following charges will apply:
A reduction of 2 cabins is allowed within 71 days before departure with no cancellation fee.
There are no special terms of payment for charters and the standard published bookings conditions and terms and conditions apply.
